I LOVE MY BLENDER I use it for many things, mostly smoothies!. I just answered another question about this stuff and I'll paste it into here!.

smoothies!! i have a really easy recipe but it doesn't matter what you put in it!. they're healthy filling and delicious!. plus, blenders are cheap!!

I always put in: 1 yogurt, a splash of milk (so it's not to thick), and a straw!

The rest: banana (or half of one if you don't want the flavor, but just the health), strawberries, mango (one of my favorite), blueberries, or any other fruits!!! I usually buy it frozen because it's a lot cheaper!. When you buy it frozen, it usually helps to microwave it a little to soften it up (unless you have a really good blender or don't mind lots of chunks)!.

PS the mango is a necessity in a good smoothie

PPS surprisingly, cinnamon is really good mixed in or sprinkled on top of a mostly blueberry smoothie (it almost tastes like blueberry pie)!!!

Have fun experimenting (the best part -- when you find your "perfect smoothie")!!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: while many people like to use ice in their recipe I don't recommend it!. I find it to taste, watery and cheap!. The frozen fruits (or slightly frozen after microwaving it) make it nice and cold, and the splash of milk (you can use skim) gives it a richer taste, extra calcium, and thins out the smoothie

also, if you want (I don't usually), you can ad some vitamins to the smoothie!. Check out your local health store or health isle for things you can ad (for example: powder that ads fiber and no taste)Www@FoodAQ@Com
