Who make home-made canned food?!


Question: Who make home-made canned food!?
In my country 3/4 of people did it!. It's named lyutenitsa ( mix from milled red peppers,tomatoes, oil and eggplats) , spice for dishes (soup), baken red peppers , jams, compotes, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Several generations ago, many people in the US home canned food!. It's a different world now!. Most women work outside the home and don't have time to keep a large vegetable garden and spend entire days canning food!. Canned food in the US is actually cheaper to buy from the store than to put up your own if you consider all the costs involved!. Some people are still devoted to home canning mostly because they enjoy their own special recipes or produce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most of my family, a byproduct of our mother!. As I grew up we would have chickens kills where I would have to kill up to 200 chickens and butch for freezing!. Most of what we canned were green beans, corn, tomatoes, sauces, jams and jellies!. But now several of the family members live in cities and don't have cellars or underground wine rooms!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
