What you would be making is a variation of pasta alioli/primavera!.!.!.!.

So after cooking your fettuccini aldente,

Heat up small amount of olive oil in a pan, saute your fresh, sliced mushrooms till tender, add the sliced or whole pitted black olives and the torn up fresh basil, salt & pepper to taste!. Use a slotted spoon and set aside the vegetables in a bowl!. Add more oil and water ( to thin out the oil and make the dish lighter)!. Heat through!.!.!.!.toss that with your pasta, add the veggies!. A bit more salt and pepper to taste!.!.!.!.

(I must confess I feel that you need to add some minced garlic to this to make the oil flavorful)

I perfer tomatoes in mine and to lightly sautee the mushrooms in a little pat of butter, but!.!.!.

finely chop about 5 to 6 basil leaves (depending on portion)
3 tbs of olive oil
