Beer can chicken?!


Question: Beer can chicken!?
Should I worry about the dye from the beer can or is the guy from http://beercanchicken!.com just trying to get me to buy his product!? This is a bit of an extension to another question I asked today!.

I've made beer can chicken for years with NO problems!!
I even add things to the beer!.!.!.whole cloves of garlic and salt, pepper, onions tooWww@FoodAQ@Com

i never heard about the dye from the can!. the charcoal is carcinogenic and aluminum is rumored to give you Alzheimer's!. i think as long as you don't eat it everyday, you will be OK!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My highly experienced grill master boyfriend has made beer can chicken a few times for us and friends!. Since the can is inserted into the chicken's cavity - an area you WON'T be eating - there is no issue with dyes!. In fact, nothing happens to can except get slimy with Chicken juice!.
Shove the can inside the chix, stand it up in the grill for one hour and VIOLA!! Juicy beer inhanced chicken!. Mmmmm!.
