I am a book buyer for a large company and some of our best selling ones are: The busy Mom's Slow Cooker Cookbook and Any of the rival crockpot cookbooks!. Personally I love using the internet to find recipes (allrecipes!.com and foodnetwork!.com)
One REALLY easy recipe my boyfriend and I like is boneless, skinless chicken breast, lots of garlic cloves, pepper, cajun seasoning and a can of cream of mushroom soup!. It only needs to cook like 5 hours and we serve it over rice and it is great!.
Enjoy your new slow cooker, you will soon wonder how you ever lived without it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Crock Pot Chicken Salsa Curry
10 chicken thighs-bone in
1 jar of your fav salsa
1/2 onion chopped
1 tablespoon curry (or about 1/2 if you don't like a strong curry taste)
1/2 cup sour cream
Place the chicken in the crock pot!. Mix the onion, curry and salsa!. Pour over the chicken and cook on low for about 6-8 hours!.
When the chicken is done take it out of the crock pot and put on a serving plate!. Add the sour cream and mix well!. Spoon the sauce over the chicken!.
This would go well with rice or cous cous!.
There are also a lot of cookbooks that have crockpot sections, and ones that are devoted to crockpot cooking!.
I buy all kinds of cookbooks that are in the checkout line at the grocery store!. They are with the candy and the other magazines, Pillsburry, Taste of Home, Campbells and all kinds of other compnaies put them out!. I usualy find at least 6 or 7 recipes in each that I really like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
