Do you use less vanilla extract when using the seeds from a vanilla bean? Would using both over power recipe??!
Answers:
the seeds are the concentrated essence that is used with alcohols to make pure extract!. use seeds and your mouth will water with goodness, use both seeds and extract and it will overpower other ingedients!. :)
the reason i say this is because if you're just sprinkling the seeds on something, they are wonderful!. if you are cooking with them, their flavor gets a lot stronger!.
i wouldnt just use less, i would use no extract at all!. instead, infuse the seeds in the liquid you are using and it will be amazing!.
the vanilla seeds should be showcased justfully!. they deserve it!. hehe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That depends on the vanilla extract you're using!.!.!.!. if you're using imitation vanilla (HORRORS!), then just toss it and go with the vanilla bean!. If you're using a concentrated Madagascar or Mexican vanilla, you might want to halve the amount of extract!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
no way, it will be great!. On the occasion that I do use vanilla beans, i find the vanilla flavour not strong enough! Looks pretty though, but yeah feel free to use both love!Www@FoodAQ@Com
