Here's something he will love! Granted, it does take some time!.!.!.but that is roasting time, not prep time!. I think he'll like these veggies too!. Oh, and the leftovers make great sandwiches (on a roll, type of thing):

Just make warm some French or sour dough bread & your set!. If you want to make a dessert, get the Lemon Bars mix at the store (cake mix aisle)!. It is easy & EVERYONE loves them!. Make them the day before, or early in day, so they can chill (best)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ChateauBurger: I discovered its easier to season hamburger before pan-frying, grilling or broiling it!. After opening the package, I put it in a bowl and add fresh-ground black pepper, sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, steak sauce and whatever else I decide I want to try - making the best, most delicious-tasting burgers I can!.

Sometimes I add egg substitute or whole eggs or the concoction I use for meat loaf!.

Sometimes I mix-in imitation crab meat to make what I call “the broke man’s surf and turf” [I’m sorry, I don’t like using the word “poor” - only because “poor” is a state of mind, which may be turned into reality - BUT THAT is another subject of discussion!.]

It all depends on what I feel like doing or trying for that particular meal!.

While burgers are cooking, I NEVER press on them or press down on them using a spatula or fork - making them cook faster!. When I want a burger to cook faster, I make a thinner, wider burger!. I LOVE a juicy burger! AND when I use provolone cheese or Swiss cheese OR any other kind of cheese, OR bacon, it makes the burger that much more interesting and delicious!

AND one other burger I make: a "ChateauBurger"! THE burger for two! Its about 3 or 4 times the size of one of my conventional burgers!.

I use 85/15 ground beef: 85% lean/15% fat!.

AND to accompany it, I make homemade mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, a couple fresh veggies and LOTS of sautéed onions! Everything is very nicely arranged on a platter - shared with the one I care for and love THE most - "THE Goddess"!

Served and "carved" at the table - AND OF COURSE - dining by candlelight! (((VERY romantic!))) AND YES: Our favorite romantic music!. We prefer Francis Albert Sinatra:
Frank Sinatra!.

I THINK that's what we'll be having! "Dinner for 2 - tomorrow at 8!" Thanks for "jogging" my memory!

Thanks for asking your Q!. I enjoyed answering it!
