2 pounds imitation Krab meat
1/3 cup sliced green onion tops
1/2 cup mayonnaise
Chop meat in small pieces!. Wash green onion tops and slice onion!. Combine meat, mayo, and green onions!. Refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving!.

Easy Crab Salad

1 cup of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing
1 cup of Hellman's Mayonnaise
1 lb!. Imitation Crab Meat
1 box of spiral noodles (red, green and regular)

Cook noodles!. Shred Crab meat!. Mix Ranch Dressing, Crab Meat, Mayonnaise and Noodles all together!. Let sit overnight!. Serve chilled!

Crab Salad With Hearts of Palm

Hearts of palm add a delicate flavor similar to artichoke hearts!. They add some bulk to help make the expensive crabmeat go further, yet they add almost no calories!.

2/3cup mayonnaise

?cup bottled chili sauce

2 green onions, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley leaves

?cup minced green bell pepper

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon drained bottled horseradish

Dash of Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

?cup chopped, drained hearts of palm (packed in water in cans or jars)

1 pound lump crabmeat, picked over

Salad greens or watercress, coarse stems discarded and the leaves washed well and spun dry, for lining the platter
Cucumber slices as an accompaniment
Toasted pita wedges as an accompaniment
In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, chili sauce, green onions, parsley, bell pepper, lemon juice, horseradish and Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper to taste!.
Fold in the hearts of palm and the crabmeat, and combine the mixture gently but thoroughly!. Store covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve (for up to 24 hours)!.
Transfer the crab salad to a platter lined with the salad greens, and serve with the cucumber slices and the pita wedges!.

Makes 16 servings!.

IMITATION CRAB SALAD

1 lb!. imitation crabmeat
1 med!. onion, diced small
1 tbsp!. celery seed
1 tbsp!. Old Bay (add more if necessary)
1/4 c!. mayonnaise

Mix well and chill!.

COMPANY CRAB SALAD

CRAB SALAD

1 c!. crab meat (more if desired)
1/2 c!. finely chopped celery
1 c!. sliced olives, optional
3 chopped, hard cooked eggs
4 c!. chopped, cooked macaroni
1/4 c!. catsup
1/2 c!. salad dressing of choice
1/4 c!. relish

Blend catsup, salad dressing and relish!. Set aside!. Toss remaining ingredients together, pour dressing over salad, mix lightly, chill before serving!. A hearty salad!. Serves 6!. Ham can be substituted for crab meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

First, please don't use "imitation crab" in salads!. It doesn't taste, or look, like real crab!. If you have to use it, use it with alot of cream cheese, cheese, etc!. in hot dips or casseroles, where it will be disguised!.

CUCUMBER CRAB SALAD
1 lb!. fresh crabmeat
2 large cucumbers (I like English Hothouse)
2/3 c!. white RICE vinegar
6 tsp!. sugar
1 tsp!. salt
dash powdered ginger
Peel and slice cucumbers very thin!. Add crab!. Mix next 4 ingredients and pour over crab & cucumbers!. Serves 6Www@FoodAQ@Com

1!. Mix the crab meat, which has been cut into small pieces, with a French dressing, and let stand one hour!.
2!. Then mix with an equal quantity of tender celery which has been cut into half-inch lengths!.
3!. Add a mayonnaise dressing, and serve on lettuce leaves!.
4!. Garnish with crab claws!.
5!. Crab-and-Tomato Salad
6!. Peel carefully 6 large, firm potatoes and remove the centres!.
7!. Chop and season the meat of 6 boiled crabs!.
8!. Fill the hollowed tomatoes with this and set on ice for several hours!.

AVOCADO AND CRAB SALAD;

1 x 170g can crab meat, drained
halve a large mango, peeled and chopped
half tsp finely diced red chilli
zest and juice of one lime
a good handful of chopped iceberg lettuce leaves
1 small avocado, peeled and sliced
8 cherry tomatoes
salt and freshly ground black pepper

1!. Mix together the crab,mango,chilli and lime zest and half the juice!. Season!.
2!. Divide the lettuce between two plates and spoon the crab mixture on top!. Serve with the avocado slices,cherry tomatoes and the remaining lime juice drizzled over!.

You can try this mixture with a 200g can of drained tuna instead of the crab!.

This can also be addapted to what ever you fancy!.
