Question: What are some simple common recipes that can be made healthy!?
I have a Food Technology assignment and I need to find an unhealthy recipe that I can make healthy but substituting some ingredients!.!.!.!.

For example: Full cream to Light cream!.

Could you give me some ideas!. They have to be simple and common!. I have to cook the food in class!

Chocolately brownies vs Black Bean Brownies

They won't know the difference!

Black Bean Brownies recipe
Each Brownie is l!.5 points on the WW Program!.

Nonstick cooking spray
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
6 egg whites or 1/2 cup fat free egg substitute
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 tablespoon lite butter
2 cups granulated sugar
2 tablespoons instant coffee powder (regular or espresso)
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Heat oven to 350 degrees F; coat a 9 x 13-inch pan with nonstick spray!.

Blend drained beans and 2 egg whites or 1/3 of 1/2 cup egg substitute) in food processor or blender until smooth!. Set aside!.

Place chocolate and lite butter in small microwave safe bowl!. Microwave for 60-90 seconds!. Stir every 30 seconds until smooth!. Set aside!.

Combine bean puree, sugar, flour, coffee powder and remaining egg whites or egg substitute in a mixing bowl!. Beat until well combined!. Blend in melted chocolate, pour mix into pan, sprinkle with walnuts!. Bake 30-35 minutes!.

Makes 30 at 1!.5 WW points!.

Chicken and Rice (the kind made with one whole cut up chicken, lipton onion soup mix, minute rice, and mushroom soup)

I have adjusted this using skinless chicken breasts, diced onion, brown rice, and low sodium chicken broth, instead!.

Basically you can adapt almost any recipe!. For instance!.!.!.!.spaghetti and meatballs!.!.!.!.use whole-grain pasta for the spaghetti and ground turkey for the meatballs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chicken Drums:- Herbed
8 Drumsticks!.
3-4 Cloves of Garlic!. (crushed)
2T Oregano, Rosemary, Thyme or Parsley!. (fresh, chopped)
Zest of 2 Lemons!.
2t Salt!.
Ground Black Pepper!.
Oil!.
4 Carrots!. (peeled)
4 Parsnips!. (peeled)
Pre heat oven to 180C (350F)
a) Mix together garlic, herbs, lemon zest, 1t salt, 1T of oil!.
b) Remove skin and knuckle from drumsticks (optional) and toss in the mixture to coat evenly!. Place on oven tray lined with baking paper!.
c) Cut carrots and parsnips into ?’s lengthways and toss in the remaining salt oil and herb mixture!. Scatter around drumsticks!.
d) Bake drumsticks, carrots and parsnips for 30 minutes!.

There is little to make this healthier!. Remove the chicken skins and use an oil that has the Heart Foundations tick of approval!.
