They blame it on gasoline prices, but I don't believe it!. I think it's a unified decision to just "stick it to the consumer!." We've been complacent too long, relying on too many convenience foods!. Then, if you try to do more from scratch, eggs, milk, flour!.!.!. all have gone up in price!. Get used to it; I don't think prices will be coming down any time soon!. You may need to ration out your milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Have you noticed the increase in gas prices!? Well the farmer need fuel to run the equipment on the farm!. The truckers need fuel to pick up the raw ingredients from the farmer!. The producers use fuel to make the end product!. The truckers use fuel to transport the product to the stores!. That is just the fuel part of the equation!.

They say it's all related to the high cost of petroleum based fuels and products!. I believe it because the increase in dairy and egg costs are not just limited to transportation to market!. Dairy and egg farms have to heat their buildings, move items and feed to the appropriate places, remove waste, run machinery, and a lot of other jobs that require some kind of energy!. The cost of feed has increased dramatically due to higher petroleum prices and increasing world wide demand!. Farmers aren't getting rich, they are just passing the cost on to the consumer so they can try to stay in business!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
