Don't listen to the many nay sayers and city slickers here!.
I grew up on wild game and squirrel is among the best!.
There is a hunting season in many parts of the States, but most, like Texas they are a pesky nuisance and they trap them!.
I got many a squirrel dinner from my neighbors there that way!.
If a microwave is all you have, add garlic and a few other spices (don't add salt, as it will make it tougher) and put it in a microwave safe container and let ot boil for 10-12 minutes on high!.
Make sure the meat is fully covered by water the whole time!.
It won't be as good as chicken-fried, but still tastey enough when you are hungry!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could, but it would not brown and would be overcooked in some parts and undercooked others!. You can either build a fire outside and roast it on a stick (put oil all over it first) or since its fresh you could eat Squirrel tartar (raw)!. If it seemed rabid, I'd go for the roast!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ha, ha! Wow, I love what a stir this caused! I am not one for animal cruelty, but I see nothing wrong with hunting for food! BBQ is your best bet, but you should talk to the parents when they get back and say, ya'll need to leave me some food next time! Do look into getting a job if you are at least 16 and see if you can stay with a friend for the rest of the week!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
