Put it into a roasting pan or a 9x13 inch pan with sides!. I like to cover the pork with a cranberry orange glaze, it is really simple!. Mash a can of cranberry jelly with a potato masher and mix with a 1/2 cup of orange juice, a teaspoon of garlic powder, some salt and pepper and about a 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon!. Pour it over the pork and cover with foil (leaving one corner turned up to vent) for about four to six hours depending on the size of your pork at about 300*, you can turn it up in the last hour if it is a good size roast!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you have to slow cook it I would do it in a slow cooker!. If you want to cook it in the overn I would do it quick!. 425 for 5 minutes then turn the heat down to 375!. Cook to an internal temp of 145-150!. This way your pork will stay nice and moist and not get dried out!. The longer it sits in the oven the dryer it gets!. Don't be afraid of the 150 temp, it's perfectly safe!. And don't forget to let it rest under a tent of foil on the counter for 10 minutes befor you cut it, this is a neglected but critical step to moist meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Whenever I cook a cured ham!.!.!.I use the slow cooker or crock pot!.!.!.no need to add anything!.!.!.!.it'll cook til you can pull the bone out!. Ribs, I season add sauce and cover with alum!. foil for the oven!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are cook a roast to slice and have a nice pork roast with potatoes then cook it at about 350 to 375!.

But if you are slow cooking it to shred for b-b-q or tacos, etc!.!. then give it a good rub of seasoned salt, black pepper, white pepper, cumin, onion and garlic powder, etc!.!. and put it in the roasting pan, add a splash or 2 of water (about 1/8-1/4 in up the pan) Cover and put it in the oven t about 250 for a couple of hours depending on the roast size!. Cook until it pulls apart with a fork!.

Wet a large 4 to 5 pound pork butt (shoulder) with water!. Place in a Aluminum pan (Like a turkey cooking pan) Sprinkle all over with coarse sea salt!. Rub with Stubbs brand Mesquite liquid smoke flavoring!. Place about a quart of spinach leaves on top of the pork then cover with aluminum foil very tightly!. cook for 6 hours (Yes 6 hours) in a 325 degree Fahernheit oven!. Discard the spinach leaves, drain the pork, skim the fat from the juices!. Remix the juices with the pork after having shredded the pork using two forks-like southern U!.S!. style pulled pork!.

The finished product will taste like Hawaian Kilua pork!.!.!.!.You will wish you had made more of it!. This freezes well so make lots-I suggesst doubling the batch!. Break out the Hawaian shirts, rice and fresh fruit salads, you will feel like you are at a Luau!

Pork roasts are also good with onions and saurkraut cooked with them to a golden brown in the oven!.
