I pan fry mine slowly!. Then when done take them out of the pan!. I add a small pat of butter, garlic, shallots, lemon, white wine etc!. You can mix and match with your preference!. It makes a nice simple sauce you pour over the steaks!. Yum!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

marinate in some lowfat italian dressing and cook outside on the grill!. cook some potatoes, onions, mushrooms in some butter and garlic pepper wrapped in tin foil on the grill too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Lawry's makes the best marinades!. I like Baja Chipolte best, but Mesquite and Hickory are good too!. also, A-1 Texas Mesquite marinade is great!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. You don't want to use a salad dressing on steak, because there's oil in it, and the steak will burn too quickly! also, Italian dressing is NOT a good marinade because it's too darned bland (I had the worst chicken last week, when someone told me to use it)Www@FoodAQ@Com

mix 2 packets of hidden valley ranch dressing mix with two packets of good seasons Italian dressing mix ,add two tbs garlic powder 2tbs onion powder,1 tbs fine gnd black pepper and 1/4 cup of brown sugar, very well and sprinkle over the steak about an hour and a half before you cook them on the grill!.make a hot fire (16 to 22 briquettes )when they are ashed over crowd them together ,dip the steaks in light veg or canola oil and place immediately on the hot grill it will flare up and the flames will seal in the juices ,assuming they are about an inch thick give them about 4 Min's on the first side and 3 on the second for medium rare ,if you cook them any farther than this they will not be as good !.simmer a pound of sliced mushrooms in a half cup of red wine with two cloves of fresh garlic pressed into it and a teaspoon of salt ,and a pinch of nutmeg ,for about fifteen minutes ,serve this over the steaks and enjoyWww@FoodAQ@Com

if they are top steaks then dont add anything to them!! you must fry them though!. dont add any oil just put the steaks in the pan and turn them regularly!.if you grill steak the heat forces the juice from the steak downwards and it will just go into the grillpan and be lost so the steak will dry out, but by frying and turning regularly the fluid will stay in the steak and not only keep it moist ,but also tender and full of flavour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
