Experiment with different colors of food coloring!.!.!. I have found that too much yellow makes orange, too much blue makes black!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Buy some white icing and food coloring!. Spoon however much icing you want into a bowl and add droplets for EVERY color-- blue, red, green, and yellow!. All of the colors combined should make black!. Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go to a craft store (Michael's, Hobby Lobby) or where they sell cake decorating supplies!. You can buy black food coloring in the little jars of paste colors (very cheap)Www@FoodAQ@Com

if there is a walmart near you ,go to the crafts section and find the cake decorating area ,on a rack in the middle there is a selection of color kits and to the right of them you will find the individual colors ,black should be the third or fourth color in that rack, trying to mix your own is a fools errand and will not work all that well anyway ,what you end up with is a Hodge-Podge that will tend towards yellow ,green ,or, blue ,and try as you might you will never be able to fix it ,just go to walmart (or any commercial retail bakery ,they would most likely sell you the icing already mixed )Www@FoodAQ@Com

if you go to a craft store they have a cake and candy section and you can just buy black food coloring to and to white frosting!. why are you frosting a cake black!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
