I picked up this item (it's a paste)up from a carribean grocery store and I'm going to use it to marinate chicken wings overnight and then grill them tomorrow!. It seems to be kinda spicy!. Is there anything else I should use to add to the flavor!? I don't want it to be too spicy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love Walkerswood!.

Usually, I'll mix a tablespoon or two - depending on how much I need and how hot I want the end result to be - with a l2 oz can of either mango or apricot nectar (mango is my favorite), and an equal amount of soy sauce!. If you'd like, you can add some other things to taste like some fresh minced garlic or ginger!. It all adds to it and you can't really go wrong!.

This makes an excellent marinade for chicken, pork and even fish!. If you use it for fish, it's best used to marinade strong-tasting fish such as kingfish - which is what I use it on a lot since my family goes fishing a LOT, or as a brush-on sauce for something lighter, like salmon!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Jerk IS spicy !.!.!. If you don't want spicy, you won't like Jerk!. It also has a very distinctive flavor!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
