Sushi recipe/help?!
I'm a big fan of sushi and have a few cookbooks!. I was wondering what type most people like so give me you opinion!
also when making maki (normal sushi in seaweed) when I go to cut it up, the sushi is too soft and goes a bit mushy!.!.!. Is there anything I can do to stop this!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I agree with rinsing the knife's blade before cutting!.
I also roll up my maki, with a layer of clingfilm on the outside of the nori, to roll it even tighter!. (That also keeps your mat from being in too close contact with the food)!.
Cut in slices, then you can easily peel off the clingfilm!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

roll them up tighter and put some water on the knife blade before you cut them !. It look like the rice is too cooked!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
well, i love california rolls!!! they are stuffed with crab meat, its soooo sweet, and cucumber, avocado, and your average nori with rice!. you also need a sushi mat!. you can buy crab sticks at a grocery store, as well as the rest!. put the rice on the nori sheet, spread it out, flip on blank side, put all ingredients above on middle!. using the mat under the nori, roll it together, tightly!. cut into pieces!. enjoy!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
