It's only 2 Tbsp!. Leave it out, and it sh ouldn't affect the recipe!. You could add a couple teaspoons of vanilla extract instead!.

try using corn syrup!. its pretty much liquid syrup!. they use rum for the flavor in the recipe!. its not really necessary!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can buy rum extract (artificial flavor) the same place you buy vanilla!. You won't need to use as much of the extract, probably one or two teaspoons instead of two tablespoons!.
