Answers:
Put about 2 lemons in the pot, but cut them in half first!. For salt, go easy, say about 1 teaspoon for a large pot and 1 or 2 lbs of shrimp!. I like to throw in some old bay seasoning too if you have it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just cut a lemon in half and throw it into the boiling water!. Put in 2 to 3 "liberal" pinches of sea salt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For a pound of shrimp, I'd make the water as salty as the ocean, maybe a little saltier!. Kosher or sea salt would taste great!. For lemon, use about 2 whole lemons, cut in half, squeezed, and rinds tossedin for flavor!. Otherwise, about ? cup lemon juice!. Toss in a couple bay leaves, too, and 2 tsp!. whole black peppercorns!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do not over-cook!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I prefer Zataran's crab and shrimp boil

Roll the lemon (uncut) first to release the juice, then cut and squeeze

Adding grated zest is a real kick - amps up the lemon flavor

Use cheap beer instead of water for additional good flavor

Oh, and any shrimp that doesn't curl, don't eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

First make sure they are not pre-cooked !.
toss in 1 lemon cut into 4 pieces
add a couple of pinches sea salt if necc { shrimp don't really need much }
bring back to boil
fresh cracked peppercorns are quite good to add if you'd like- i did read you wanted to NOT use spices though !.
sounds like breakfast to meWww@FoodAQ@Com
