Fried chicken in bisquick?!
Okay i wanted to fry up some chicken in my fryer, im out of flour can i use bisquick!? Or would it be nasty!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I was in the same jam you are in!. I was out of flour and shake and bake, but had Bisquick!. It was excellent and my husband has requested we make chicken this way for now on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It will be more doughy than normal- as bisquick is a mix of flour and levening agents!. But hey - if you're in a bind, use what you have and experiment!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Bisquick has a recipe for oven fried chicken and it is delicious!. I'm actually making it for dinner tonight, what are the odds!? It is my husbands favorite!. I'm sure you could deep fry it too, I don't see why not!. good luck!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would try it!.!.!.!.it might make it more like tempura though because Bisquick has leavening agents in it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It should work like flour if you just pour it in a bag with,garlic,salt & pepper!. Wash your chicken,put into bag, then shake it to coat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
