Question: I need a good dessert that takes 12 minutes to make!!?
I'm doing a final exam speech and it has to be 15 minutes!. I want to do a how-to on dessert!. I would like the preparation to be 12 minutes so that I have time to pass out the dessert!. It has to be homemade and be made in front of the class!. I can make it at home and then take it up there if it needs to bake!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should make like!.!.!. parfaits or something! That way you could bring all the ingredients fresh and have to chop them up in front of the class!.!.!.!. and layer it and all that!. It'll probably end up taking 15 minutes to do all that!. It'd be nutritional as well!Www@FoodAQ@Com

PISTACHIO FLUFF
1 small package Pistachio (or Lemon) INSTANT pudding mix
1 (9 oz) carton Cool Whip
1 (8oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
3/4 c!. chopped nuts
1/2 c!. miniature marshmellows
Combine all ingredients well!.!.!. Should chill several hours, but would be ok to serve there (may need to double if you want to serve your class - bring some Dixie cups & spoons)

BROWNIE DUMP CAKE
1 pkg!. chocolate cake mix
1 small package INSTANT chocolate pudding mix
4 eggs
3/4 c!. oil
3/4 c!. water
1 (6 oz) package chocolate chips
1 c!. chopped walnuts
powdered sugar to sprinkle on top
Dump together cake mix, pudding, eggs, oil & water; beat 4 min!. Blend in chips and nuts!. Bake in greased bundt or 9x13" pan for 35-50 min (depending on pan - test with toothpick in center) at 350!. Cool 5 min!. If bundt pan, remove from pan!.!.!. sprinkle with powdered sugarWww@FoodAQ@Com

parfaits with fruit, yougurt and granola

if you could do these in 15 minutes::;

No Bake Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
2 cups creamy peanut butter
3 cups confectioners' sugar
3 cups crispy rice cereal, crushed (recommended: Rice Krispies)
1 cup semisweet mini chocolate morsels
2 (12-ounce) packages semisweet chocolate morsels


In a large mixing bowl, using your hand, combine butter, peanut butter, sugar, rice cereal and mini chocolate morsels!. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place onto a parchment lined sheet pan in the freezer!. In a double boiler, over simmering water, melt semisweet morsels!. Stir constantly until melted and smooth!. With a fork, dip the frozen balls in melted chocolate!. Place on a cool cookie sheet lined with parchment paper!. Place in freezer for 5 to10 minutes until the chocolate has set!. Store the balls in an airtight container at room temperature!.

Rice krispie treats:

Ingredients
3 tablespoons margarine or butter
1 (10 oz!.) package regular marshmallows
- or -
4 cups mini marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies?

Directions
1!. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat!. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted!. Remove from heat!.

2!. Add KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal!. Stir until well coated!.

3!. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray!. Cut into 2-inch squares when cool!. Best if served the same day!.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
In a large microwave safe bowl, heat margarine and marshmallows at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes!. Stir until smooth!. Follow steps 2 and 3 above!.

Microwave cooking times may vary!.

Note

For best results, use fresh marshmallows!.

1 jar (7 oz!.) marshmallow creme can be substituted for marshmallows!.

Diet, reduced calorie or tub margarine is not recommended!.

Store no more than two days in airtight container!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make a trifle - you can preset the jello at home in th bowl!.
Then at school you can layer fruit and sponge on the jello,
Topp this with whipped fruit flavour desert and top this whipped cream or topping!. Then decorate with hundreds and thousands / fresh fruit etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
