Okay some stores stock in the the refrigerated section and some stock in directly on a shelf!. If you bought it refrigerated then it must be kept that way!. If it was bought off the shelf it can stay in the pantry until you open it!.

Was the packaged opened at all or used!? If it was you will most likely have to get a new one!.

If it was not opened, came from a shelf in the store, you will be fine!.

Most of all whatever the box says about refrigeration is the best advice!.

:)

I hope this helps!. Best wishes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Im gonna go with no since that product is so processed that its preservatives most likely left it like nothing has happend!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!. In alot of grocery stores it's actually not even stored in the refridgerated section!. I'd say it's OK!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

NO IF IT CAN SURVIVE MONTHS ON THE SHELF ,I THINK YOUR SAFE !
IF ANYTHING THE EXPOSED EDGE DRIED OUT A LITTLE ,SO JUST TRIM AND GIVE IT TO THE DOG OR CAT !!Www@FoodAQ@Com

no, velveeta doesn't even need to be refridgerated!. you can leave it out every night!. didn't you notice in the store, it was just on the shelf and not in the fridge!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have some processed cheese slices that have been sitting in my fridge for a couple of years and every once in a while I use one!. So I think that it would be okay to use!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
