Can you replace olive oil for vegetable oil when baking?!

Question: Can you replace olive oil for vegetable oil when baking!?
is it possible to do that and get the same consistency (im baking brownies) or is the olive oil too dense to use in place of regular vegetable oil!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
When baking unless your recipe calls for it stick with the Vegetable oil!. Cause 1 the olive oil is going to change the texture of the item, 2 it could also alter the flavor of the item!. If your going to change the oil try Canola instead , yea its not as light as Vegetable oil but its the safest choice for getting the same flavor and texture in the end result!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no or they will be the worst tasting brownies you ever eatWww@FoodAQ@Com

I have used the Extr Virgin olive oil and it was fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It will change the taste!. Some may like it, others not!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you're using a box recipe, it will be fine!. I doubt anyone will call you out on it!. If you're using a recipe from scratch, then I would use exactly what it called forWww@FoodAQ@Com

i used olive oil for my banana muffins and they turned out really yummy!. not to mention more healthy too!. have not tried it on brownies though!.

maybe you can give it a try!? =)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Olive oil will change the flavor and consistency for your brownies!. It's simply too dark and thick to replace vegetable oil!. Try using canola oil or another light oil!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't advise using olive oil to bake brownies!. My daughter used olive oil to bake brownies about two years ago!. We had the strangest tasting brownies there ever were!. Needless to say, we still tease her about anytime she goes to make brownies!.

The flavor of the olive oil is just too strong for brownies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
