Question: Dinner Ideas!? No flour, no sugar!?
I want to cook dinner for my family tonight but my parents are on this diet thing where they can't eat any flour or sugar (or maybe just a LITTLE bit!.) Any ideas!? Thanks!. 10 points to best answer!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Simply the best answer :) this is for 2 people!.!.just multiple it!.

I call them Talapia Pockets!.

You need 2 pieces of Talapia (fish)
1 red pepper sliced lenghtwise
1 small onion-sliced into rings
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup feta cheese
salt and pepper
foil

Repeat these instructions twice:
(1) Pull out 2 pieces of foil, about a 10" piece and drizzle a little oil on bottom to keep fish from sticking and place 1 piece of fish on it!.
(2) ontop of fish put some onion, pepper,salt,pepper,oregano and 1/2 the feta cheese!. Place butter on top!.
(3) Fold up foil over fish like a packet or gift!.
(4) put in pre-heated oven for about 20 min at 350!.

Pull fish out, cut a slit in the foil and serve in the bag !.!.on a plate!.

The aroma smells great and the presentation is kickass!

Use this for your meat dish with a side dish or two of vegetables, rice, or potatoes!. You will find these packages near the meat section, they are not frozen!. Ask a clerk for help!.

6!. Another thing you can do is cook in a slow cooker or a crock-pot!. You put the meat into the crock-pot in the morning and it cooks all day long!. The meal is ready at dinner time!. Crock-pots can be bought at your grocery store, WalMart, Target, etc!. BE SURE to read the booklet that comes with the crock-pot!.

You don't need flour or sugar to make dinner!. You can grill burgers, steaks, fish or chicken!. All very easy, low fat and taste great!. A crack of pepper and salt are all they need to grill and taste yummy!. Maybe baste chicken with a sugar-free BBQ sauce!.

Serve with roasted veggies!. Take your favorite vegetables (potatoes, asparagus, carrots, etc) and cut into simlar sized pieces!. Set the oven to 450 degrees!. Lay a piece of aluminum foil on a baking sheet, toss the veggies lightly in some olive oil and spread the veggies on the aluminum foil!. Put the veggies in the oven !.!.!. after about 10-20 minutes they should be browned and tender!.

All of the sugar is natural!.

Apple chicken

2 chicken breasts
salt
oil
2 tsp!. minced garlic
1 C chopped apple
3/4 C apple juice

Salt each side of the chicken and brown on a skillet for about 4 minutes on each side!. Remove and keep warm!. Sautee the garlic and apples in the oil!. Add the apple juice and let simmer for a few minutes!. Place the chicken in a baking pan and pour in the apple mix!. Bake for 30-40 minutes at 375 turning chicken over halfway through cooking time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make a nice green salad, cook up some steaks, chicken or pork (any way you want, as long as it isn't sugary or breaded)!. Serve with sauted mushrooms, onions and peppers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
