I live on the border of mexico, and yes, there are different ways to make guacamole, but the most simple recipe is this!.

avocados
garlic salt
regular salt
pepper
salsa (any jar of salsa works)

Peel and mash your avocados, add your salts and pepper to taste!. Add just a bit of salsa for flavor, mix all ingredients!. If it tastes too bland, you need to add more salt and garlic salt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Guacamole usually contains avocado, salt, and lemon juice!. Some recipes may call for a lot of different ingredients though!. Some popular added ingredients are hot sauce, garlic powder, and chopped tomatoes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are 5 million ways to make guacamole, here is one recipe!.

Ingredients
1 large avocado, scooped out of shell and mashed
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon salsa
1 garlic clove, pressed
1 tablespoon sweet onion, finely diced
1 teaspoon cilantro or parsley (note, some people find it vile)
1 tablespoon tomato, finely diced
2 teaspoons black olive, minced
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice or lime juice or balsamic vinegar
salt, use less if you'll refrigerate (you shouldn't need much)

Directions
1)Cut the avocado in half, scoop out the flesh with a spoon; mash 3/4 of it well and chop the remaining 1/4 coarsely (I do this with the spoon, in the avocado shell, before scooping the last bit out)!.
2)Mix it into the mashed portion!.
3)Mix all remaining ingredients together!.
4)Serve immediately, or cover with plastic wrap, pressing wrap firmly to surface of guacamole (or it will turn color due to oxidation) and refrigerate up to 4 hours before serving!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Avocados
Diced tomatoes
Onions
Garlic
Lime juice
Jalapenos
Cilantro
Course ground salt
Pico de Gallo seasoning (if you can find it)

When making it, leave the avocados pits in the guacamole until ready to eat!. It prevents the avocados from going brown!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

People make it different ways!. But the way I make mine is, I smash my avocados, add salt, garlic and some lime juice!. That's pretty much all I put in mine!. Some people add chopped jalepeno or other type of chili pepper to give it some zing!. you can also add chopped tomato, and onion, cilantro!. To keep it from turning black, you save it overnight you will want to put some plastic wrap over the top and press out all the air!. YOu want to make sure you have a ripe avocado also!. An unripe avocado can taste pretty gross!. When you buy them in the store and you want ot make it right away you want them to be a little soft but not too soft!. If you are going to make it later, take them home and put them in a paper bag for a day or so and they will ripen pretty quickly over a day or two!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't make this difficult!. Guacomole should be served fresh and is just 6 basic ingredients!. Avacado, Salt, Lime, Garlic, Red onion and Tomato!.

The rest of the so called recipes take liberty on what Guac is supposed to taste like!. Stick to these basics and you will always be happy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

onions, tomatos, garlic,avocados,cumin,and love
tortilla
monteray jack cheeseWww@FoodAQ@Com

Avocados, HOT salsa, chopped tomato and onion, and garlic powder!! Adding lemon/lime juice or cilantro will drown out the other flavors, I recommend not doing that!Www@FoodAQ@Com
