Do you have any ideas for herbs I should use for D?ner Kabab when using chicken meat instead of lamb?!
Answers:
NO WAY!!!! no corriander, no alspice!. I lived in Turkey for 10 years, and never did i see these spices in chicken doner!!
Use cumin, salt, pepper!. This is enough you dont want it too mixed, you still need to taste the chicken and whatever you're serving it with! But believe me, corriander does not feature anywhere in Turkish cooking, if anything it's continental parsley!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Doners are Turkish so coriander (Cilantro) would go very nice, especially with chicken!. Spice it with chilli, garlic and all spice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Parsley would be my first choice, the flat variety!. But you won't go far wrong with oregano either!. That's what is used on the Greek version (gyros) and it's divine!.
You also need a little cumin but to be pedantic that's a spice, not a herb!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
