Can a raw egg be broken in half by being burnt?!

Question: Can a raw egg be broken in half by being burnt!?
With a hot wire or something similar, so the contents can then be used!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Probably not (though I haven't tried it)!. The shell of a chicken egg is about 95% calcium stabilized by proteins!. Meaning you'd have to burn that calcium to break the shell through heating!. Since calcium is a mineral (ie a rock) it won't burn or melt until it reaches very high temperatures!.

In short, just crack the egg on a flat surface like the rest of the world's cooks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes, get out the dremil saw! i use to used eggs in my art works!. and my family ate a lot of omelets and crepes'

hint if you want a nice cut, put a piece of masking tape round the center of the egg first, then wash with some soapy water !.!.!. make sure you have also washed the saw blade with some soapy water too!.

(if you saw how some food is prepared you would never go out to eat) at least this is clean!Www@FoodAQ@Com
