How about sliced pears (from a tin is fine) and if you're feeling naughty drizzle some chocolate sauce on top of the pears!
I think tinned raspberries would taste nicer than tinned strawberries!. Tinned strawberries often come out with a slimey texture!.
If you really do want strawberries though try a strawberry jam - one of the fruit Spread types which is 100% fruit no added sugar would be good (St Dalfour in the tall thin jars is a common one)!.
Personally I have golden syrup on my porridge but your options sound healthier!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I LOVE playing with porridge!. Often I will add vanilla extract to it as it cooks to give a beautiful vanilla flavour!.
Cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cardamom and ground coriander seeds are lovely sprinkled into porridge for a warm spice flavour!. Use only small sprinkles of each until you reach the depth of flavour that you like!. Add honey to this mixture!.
Cook sultanas, raisins, dried apricots, dried figs, prunes, currants in while cooking oats!. You can choose one fruit or all of them! Whichever you can handle!. Great source of fibre and minerals such as iron and calcium!.
Pure maple syrup instead of honey gives porridge a lovely smoky-sweet flavour!.
Try frozen berries, such as raspberries, blueberries, cherries (or fresh if available) in addition to the fruit that you will eat!. If you can get stone fruit such as peaches, nectarines and apricots, they have a beautiful flavour in porridge, especially when vanilla extract is added!.
Chopped raw nuts, such as almonds, macadamias, cashews, Brazil nuts, sunflower seeds and walnuts are yummy additions to porridge, especially with maple syrup!.
Hope something in this list inspires you!Www@FoodAQ@Com
