Meat grinders are not meant to grind bone no matter how heavy duity they are!. "bone grinders are just that, bone grinders!. Meat grinders occasionally pass through a small piece of bone but are not meant to grind bone only flesh!. Not only can the blades not handle the bone, they aren't designed for bone, but the auger screw can not handle bone as well!. That goes for electric and manual models!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Meat grinders are NOT for grinding bone, they are for grinding meat and fat!. Bone can really mess up your meat grinder!. Technically a meat grinder doesnt grind, it forces meat through a die using a large screw that pushes it into a small gap at the end and up against the die!. Whatever you do, do not put bones into the grinder please!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
