the best way is to steam it (if you boil it a lot of the flavor will stay in the water) fill your pot with about 1 to 2 inches of water with LOTS of salt (if you can buy them with the sea water that's the best) then when its boiling put in the lobster head first and let it cook for 8 min!. per pound (so if its 1 1/2 pounds !.!. 12 min!.) and you can have more than one lobster in the pot at the same time just as long as they all fit comfortably!.!.!. if you have to cram them in they will not cook well!.!.!.!.!.!.!. bon appetit!!! yummy lobster!.!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

To boil a lobster, drop it into rapidly boiling water and boil until it floats!. It doesn't take long, maybe 7 or 8 minutes, so keep an eye on it!. If you overcook it it will not taste as good, and it may be tougher!.

I also like to poach a lobster in rapidly boiling water for about 45 seconds!. Chill it, and then you can remove the raw meat from the shell and use it for sushi or sashimi!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
