Chocolate dipping question?!


Question: Chocolate dipping question!?
i am vegan!. i would like my cookies chocolat dipped(dark) but find no vegan chocolate chips, can i use a bar of dark chocolate, melt that down, and dip them like that!?!?/Www@FoodAQ@Com

1/4 cup margarine
8 ounces chocolate chips or dark chocolate ( candy bar is fine)
2 tbsp flour
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 tbsp soy milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup Kahlua or other flavored liqueur (optional)
PREPARATION:
Melt margarine, chocolate and milk together in saucepan!. Once melted, remove from heat, add the rest of the ingredients, combine well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

hmmm!.!.!. most chocolate, whether milk or dark, contain milk and/or cream (big no-no if you are vegan)!. Have you checked out carob powder or carob chips!? they both resemble chocolate in taste!. if you are in GA, call Life Grocery, or any local health food store in your state!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 (8 oz) pkg soy based cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup soy based whipping cream
1/8 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp!. cinnamon (optional)
1/4 tsp!. vanilla
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Cream the cream cheese and whipping cream together!.

Mix in the brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla!.

Dark chocolate does not have any milk solid in it!. So, you can definitely use dark chocolate for you cookies!. All you need to do is that chop your dark chocolate bar and melt them down!. But be careful when you melt the chocolate!. Place the bowl of chopped chocolate over a pan of simmering water!. Stir it until it gets melt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
