It's truly yummy !.!.!. but I can't give you the measurements because I just put the stuff into the pot until it 'smells and tastes right' !.!.!. but I do have one thing that I always do that my grandmother did !.!.!. one full glass of wine goes into the pot, and one full glass of wine goes into the cook !.!.!. it calms me down, I suppose, so I don't want to 'hurry' the sauce by stirring or turning it up too high!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use both ground Italian sausage and ground sirloin!. I fry that then drain it!. I usually run some hot water over the drained meat to get all fat out!. Then I and add seasonings such as: garlic (fresh or powdered), Italian seasoning, oregano, fresh parsley, paprika, cinnamon!. I pour in a couple jars of Prego Sauce (any type)!. Then I slice a couple zuccinis very thinly and add a few spoonfuls of brown sugar and a light sprinkle of cayenne pepper (optional)!. Oh, and I usually add a large can of crushed tomatoes and sometimes fresh, sliced mushrooms!.

I usually put all this in a crock pot and cook it for several hours!. This helps to get all the spices to blend, and the sauce thickens, so it sticks better to the noodles!.

I love to pour this over angel hair pasta, but it is good over any pasta you like!.

My husband, 4 grown kids, their spouses and my 3 grandkids just love it!. Yummmm!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

to add flavor and body to the sauce, I puree a mixture of chopped mushrooms, celery, onions, carrots, garlic!. I add this pureed paste to the tomato paste!.
