Does anyone have a recipe for cornbread dressing?!


Question: Does anyone have a recipe for cornbread dressing!?
Answers:
2/3 cup chopped onion
2 cups chopped celery
2 quarts of day old, grated cornbread
1 quart of day old, grated biscuits
1/4 cup dried parsley flakes
2 tsp poultry seasoning
2 tsp ground sage
1 tsp coarse ground pepper
4 ounces margarine
1 quart (32 ounces) plus 1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F!.

Mix onion, celery, grated cornbread, and biscuits, parsley, poultry seasoning, sage, and pepper in a large mixing bowl!.

Cornbread Stuffing


Ingredients:
---------------------------------CORN BREAD---------------------------------
1/4 c Cornmeal, yellow
1/4 ts Baking soda
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1 tb Flour
1 c Buttermilk
1 Egg
1 tb Salad oil

Instructions:

3 Celery stalks
1 Onion, chopped
3 White or whole wheat bread
3 Eggs, hard boiled (optional)
3 Eggs, raw, beaten slightly
1 ts Salt, or to taste
1/8 ts Ground pepper, or to taste
1 tb Ground dry sage, or to taste
1 c Or more Chicken/turkey broth

CORNBREAD: Mix dry ingredients!. Separately mix buttermilk and egg!.
Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients and mix thoroughly but do not
beat!. Preheat 1 tbl!. salad oil to VERY HOT in an oven proof skillet or cake
pan!. Bake in a preheated 450 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes!. remove from
pan and set aside to cool!.

DRESSING: Cook celery and onion in a small amount of the broth until
tender!. DO NOT DRAIN!. Set aside!. This can be done the day before and
refrigerated!. Toast two or three slices of bread until crisp all the way
through!. Crunble cornbread and toasted bread into a large bowl!. Add celery,
onion and the water they were cooked in, then add the chopped hard boiled
eggs if desired!. Beat raw eggs and add to mixture!. Start adding broth!. How
much you add is how dry or wet finished dressing will be!. Add seasonings
and mix!.

Pour into greased baking pan and cook in a 350 degree oven for 35 to 45
minutes or until nicely browned!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

onions 1 or 2
cerlery 3 stalks chopped small
can of cream of mushroom soup
can of cream of chicken soup
package of extra sage sauage
2 or 3 spoons of sage
cook cerlery and onions then add soups ,and sauage
when corn bread is done add all togehter
then add water or any type of broth you want as needed for moisture
this can all be done stove top
except the corn bread!.If you dont want to bake the corn bread you can use 2 or 3 boxes of stove top dressing in the place of the corn breadWww@FoodAQ@Com

This is my recipe for Thanksgiving!. So it may be too much for you!.
Corn bread
2 cups yellow corn meal
1 cup flour
2 large eggs
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
2 tbs of bacon or sausage drippings
2 cups of butter milk
Heat two cast iron skillets in Oven with 1 tsp of bacon drippings in each pan!.set to 400 degrees!.!.when oven is hot take pans out and pour mixed ingredients into pans!.!.!.cook for 20 to 25 mins!.!.remove from heat and let cool
Break up corn bread into large baking pan or dish!.!.chop one small onion, and 4 stalks of celery, cook in heated pot with 2 tbs of butter on med heat till cooked through (about 8 mins), add to dressing, add 3 cans of chicken broth, 5 chopped boiled eggs, 1 tbs of salt, 2 tsp of black pepper( may need to taste to get salt and pepper right) and 4 to 8 tbs of sage !.It depends on how sagey you want urs!.I use about 6!. mix all together in dish till mixed thoroughly!.Cook in oven on 350 degrees for about 45 mins or until top is lightly browned!.
