Answers:
i would put it in in the late morning and set it to low then by dinner time it will be done!. the slower and longer you cook it the better!. and yes you do need to put a liquid in it!. about an inch of water is good!. all the juices from the roast will flavor it so you can make a wonderful gravy after!. good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Slow cooking roast beef in an oven isnt a good idea

instead rub some flour, mustard seeed, spicy wet brown mustard, and some salt and pepper on it put it in a pan and cook it for about and hour and a half maybe

take the dripping and put it in a pan when its finished cooking and add some flour and stir constantly until it boilsWww@FoodAQ@Com

If you are using a slow cooker or crock pot, you can cook it on low overnight and into the next day!. It will be really tender!. You need about enough water to cover about an 1" to 1-1/2"!. When you cook it the steam that condenses on the lid will keep it moist!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, everyone has a method!. It depends a lot on the cut of beef you have there!. Is it blade, rump, sirloin tip, prime rib!? The rule of thumb is 325 at 20 min!. per pound!. I never put water in, you want to roast it, not steam it!. I put a couple of slices of onion under the roast for flavourful gravy, pepper on top and that's it!. Hope this helps you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
