I work at a store called Le Gourmet Chef!. We sell several different lines of cookware!. Calphalon is by far the best and most popular!. I use calphalon myself!. I had never heard of it until I started working at the store!. I bought a skillet and have since replaced almost all of my cookware!. The calphalon one nonstick is the best!. I have pieces of one nonstick and I also have pieces of their contempory line!. It is a step down from the calp one!. I like one just as well as the other!. Ok heres the deal!. Calphalon cookware!. Has a lifetime warrenty!. There are three things that will void your warrenty!. First metal utensils!. The none stick will not flake off your cookware but if you use metal utensils it will scratch it!. Second don't put it in the dishwasher!. I know it everyone wants to use the dishwasher but it is so easy to clean that you wont mind hand washing it!. Third do not use areosol cooking sprays!. The reason for that is!. Have you ever had a pan that has a sticky gummy like coating on it that will not come off!? Well that is from the cooking spray!. You can use any kind of oil and put it in any way just as long as it is not areosol can!. We sell a oil pump which is nice!. It does the same as the spray but you pump it to build pressure then spray!.
Calphalon can be used on a smooth top range!. We have people ask us this all the time!. It has stay cool handles and can be put into a 450 degree oven!. Every once in a while we will have someone bring in or tell us they had trouble with their nonstick coating flaking off!. This should not happen but if it does and you have followed all the do's and don'ts all you have to do is call calphalon and they are very good about replacing pieces for you!.
I have a pan that is call a 7 qt!. chef's cassarole!. One morning I decided to put soup beans on to cook!. I was going to cook them in the pan antil time for me to go to work then transfer them to the crockpot to finish cooking while I was at work!. I got the beans cooking went to get a shower and get ready for work!. I forgot all about the beans!. I came out of the bathroom and could smell the beans burning!. They had completely boiled dry I thought my pan was ruined but I took a rubber scraper ran it around the inside edges of the pan took it over to the trash can and flipped it over!. Every bit of the burnt beans fell right out into the trash!. I am sold on this cookware!. Try a piece or to and I'm sure you will want to buy more!. Ahh I feel like I'm at work!! LOLWww@FoodAQ@Com

I'd go with Pampered Chef!. It has a lifetime warranty on it!. So even if it gets scratched and starts to stick, they'll replace it free of charge!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Your best bet is hard-anodized cookware, such as calphalon or circulon!. I have the better calphalon line and love it!. (don't buy the cheap stuff - if you're going to invest, invest!)Www@FoodAQ@Com
Calaphalon is very good, and decent priced!.
Most sets can be added to with open stock also!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Get an anadoized cookware!. In that case there is no peeling, no scratching!. It is a little expensive but lasts for a really long time if you take care of it well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I like Caphalon and All Clad!. If your budget does not allow for a full set, let me make a few recommendations!. Some department stores such as Macy's sometimes have sales and have a try me set!. They are pan that are high quality that they sell cheap to get you to try and hopefully get hooked on the cookware, that will give you and idea of what you might like!. You may not necessarily need a whole set!. Most sets don't fit the users habits very well!. Find out what pieces are the most suited to what and how you cook and buy those first!. Ebay is also a reasonable place to look if you know what you want and how much it will cost!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
