Making curried mashed potato balls?!

Question: Making curried mashed potato balls!?
I have leftover mashed potatoes that I want to make into mock samosas!. I plan on currying them, adding peas and then frying them after rolling in panko breadcrumbs!. Any ideas beyond eggs for binding the panko to the mashed potato mixture!? Someone suggested wholegrain mustard, but I don't have any and don't want to make a special trip to the store for one item!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have done this before and it just doesnt work unless the potato balls have been frozen or wrapped in something- they fall apart!. And if you are definately not using eggs there is nothing for the breadcrumbs to bind with to form a crust!. Though they would definately just stick to the mash!. Maybe dont use anything just roll it in the panko and bake them with a bit of spray oil!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't know, but it sounds like it will be good!. Happy cooking and I hope you find what you are looking for!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
