I need a really good frybread recipe?!


Question: I need a really good frybread recipe!?
I use to have a good recipe but I can't find it!. It was called something like Navajo Frybread PLEASE HELPWww@FoodAQ@Com

American Indian Fry Bread

2 c Flour
1/3 c Powdered milk
2 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
3 tb Lard, divided
3/4 c Warm water
Oil

Instructions:
Mix dry ingredients!. Cut in 2 T!. lard until crumbly!. Add water & mix
until a soft dough forms!. Knead until dough is smooth & springy in
texture!. Make into 12 balls!. Melt 1 Tbls!. lard & brush on each ball
of dough!. Set aside for 30-45 minutes!. On a lightly floured surface,
roll each ball to a 4" circle, then stretch to 7-8" in diameter!. Poke
hole in center!. Fry in oil at 365 degrees until lightly browned,
turning once!. Serve with butter, honey or jam, or use as the bottom
layer of an Indian taco!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

FRYBREAD:

Ingredients
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups water
vegetable oil (for frying)


Directions
1) Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl!.
2) Gradually stir in water until dough is soft without sticking to bowl!.
3) Knead dough on lightly floured surface for 5 minutes!.
4) Return dough to bowl and cover with a clean towel!.
5) Let dough rest for 30 minutes!.
6) Shape dough into egg-size balls and roll on lightly floured surface to a thickness of 1/2 inch!.
7) Pat from hand to hand as you would pizza dough until it is 8 to 12 inches in diameter!.
8) Repeat with remaining dough balls!.
9) Heat about 1 1/2 inches of oil into a large frying pan over medium heat!.
10) Cook pieces, turning once until bread is golden brown!.
11) Drain on paper towels!.

Native American Frybread
1 hour | 15 min prep | SERVES 3

Ingredients
2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup dry milk
1 egg
1 cup warm water


Directions
1Mix the dry ingredients together, mix the egg and the water, add to the dry mixture!.
2Add flour or water to adjust mixture to a very soft dough mixture!.
3Put dough on a well floured board!.
4Roll out to about a 1 inch thickness!.
5Let set for about 15 minutes!.
6Cut into what ever size you would like
7Batter makes about 25 pieces!.
8Deep fry in hot oil, just enough to brown on each side!.
9Put on a paper towel to get some of the oil off of the bread!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

2 cups cornmeal
1 tablespoon mayo
1 cup milk

stir together, add more milk to maker a thin batter!. you can add corn, jalapeno peppers, cheese or anything else you like!.

have pan with about 1/2 inch oil heated on stove!.

Thaw out frozen bread dough and shape them in round circles and deep fry each side in hot oil until golden brown!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
