If you freeze regular milk, it separates later - so, I'd assume that buttermilk would too!.!.!.!.!.!.!. I never use buttermilk for anything except a few recipes, and it was always getting thrown out!. So, I bought a can of powdered buttermilk, and I can just make up the amount I need for each recipe now:)Www@FoodAQ@Com
Shake a litle salt on top of a glass of Buttermilk and drink it!.
It tastes great, and is not just for cooking!.
Use it to soak chicken before seasoning!.
Make extra pancakes and freeze them!.
Make biscuits and put honey on them!.
It will last quite awhile in th fridge too!.
It is available in under a quart size container also!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Isn't that just aweful they don't make smaller cartons of buttermilk!? I always have to throw it out, since i won't freeze it!. You can freeze it though in an airtight container!. It will not have the same flavor or quality as normal though after defrosting!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
