Cold salad made with Ramen noodles?!


Question: Cold salad made with Ramen noodles!?
I'm looking for a salad I ate last summer at a picnic!. It has Ramen noodles in it for sure and almonds, maybe!?!? It's kind of sweet!. Does anyone have the recipe or know the name!? Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Noodles
Bean sprouts
Finely sliced green and red peppers
Baby spinach
Finely sliced and seeded red or green chiles
Rocket (arugula)
Sliced scallions
Peeled, seeded and sliced cucumbers
Finely sliced Chinese and Savoy cabbage
Whole sugar snap peas
Mint, basil and coriander (cilantro)
Lightly toasted cashew nuts or sesame seeds, for garnish

Cook the noodles as normal and prepare all the vegetables while the noodles are cooking!. When they are done rinse under cold water and add to the salad!.

Thai Dressing:
4 tablespoons fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon sesame seed oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Large pinch brown sugar
1 tablespoon ginger, peeled and finely chopped
1/2 clove garlic, finely sliced
1 red chili, seeded and finely sliced
1 large handful fresh coriander (cilantro) and basil, chopped

Mix all of the ingredients together in a jam jar, shake and pour over the salad!. Garnish with cashew nuts or sesame seeds!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

In Hawaii, we call ramen "saimin" and soy sauce "shoyu"!.

Cold Saimin

1 bag fresh Saimin (not instant)
1/4 Cup Sesame Seed Oil
1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
1/3 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Japanese Vinegar (Mirin)
1/2 Cup Shoyu
Kamaboku, chopped (Fish cake)
Eggs, scrambled
Green Beans, sliced
Lettuce, chopped

Boil noodles, pat dry!. Mix one teaspoon sesame seed oil with one teaspoon of vegetable oil!. Rub mixture over noodles and set aside!. Mix together kamaboku, eggs, green beans, lettuce (amounts according to preference and taste)!. Combine with saimin noodles!.

Mix sugar, vinegar, 1/8 cup sesame seed oil, shoyu, and 1/8 cup vegetable oil together and pour over noodles!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have an asian chicken salad that I make using ramen noodles !.!.it has chicken flavored ramen noodles (uncooked), cole slaw mix, slivered almonds, sesame seeds, cooked shredded chicken and the dressing (vinegar, oil and the seasoning packet from the ramen noodles, and sugar) !.!.!.!.it is SO GOOD !!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's called Somen Salad!. It has Sesame Seeds, Chopper Lettuce, Green Onions, Fish Cake, Rice Vinegar, Sugar, Soy Sauce, Sesame Seed Oil and Somen Noodles!. It's a great salad on a hot day!.!.!. LOL!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
