Add in some potatoes and some good spices and you can make really good pasties !.!.!. brown the hamburger and dice the potatoes as small as you can get them (you may even want to shred them after they are cooked)!. Mix 50% meat to 50% potatoes, or if you want another (actually healthier) pasty, use 1/3 meat, 1/3 potato, and 1/3 cooked turnip!. These are very different depending on the spices you use !.!.!. use a chili powder/cayenne mix and they're a bit 'hot' but taste wonderful!. Use an Italian seasoning mix (basil, oregano, marjoram, thyme) for a different flavor!. And for 'just plain' you can add a tiny bit of salt but LOTS of black pepper !.!.!. any way you make them, once the stuff is mixed and seasoned (taste it to be sure you are happy) then cut circles out of the pie crust and put a spoonful on one half, fold the other half over and 'crimp' with a fork or your fingers!. Bake in an oven at 375 degrees for 15 minutes and put into the fridge if you want them cold, or eat while they're hot !.!.!. these are basically what men who worked in the mines took for lunch !.!.!. just wrapped a 'rag' around them and put them into their coat pockets!. They are very tasty and can keep a person going for a long time, depending on size and person!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Shepards pie is a good one!. Brown meat, layer in pie with canned or frozen vegetables, top with mashed potatoes, back!. I can't remember if you pre-bake the crust, though, so I'll get back to you on that!.
Pasties are another fun one!. Cut circles of the dough, brown the meat, scoop a small portion onto one half of the circle, fold other half over, crimp with fork, pierce lightly and bake until brown!. You can add veggies to this as well if you want!. Don't overfill the circles!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
