for homemade start with a white sauce, mac, cheese, and butter and bakeWww@FoodAQ@Com

is it homemade or like Kraft!? Homemade is usually really creamy to begin with if you use enough cheese!. If its kraft use less water and more butter!. also use a higher fat milk or even cream!. Try looking on www!.allrecipes!.com type in creamy mac and cheese or something like that!. its a great site!. good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it's from the box, be sure you're adding the whole complement of butter!. That should do the trick!. Then stir stir stir together!.

if it's a homemade recipe, be sure you're following the recipe exactly!. If that's not working, you may need a better recipe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try not to use pre-shredded packaged cheese!. It's got cornstarch on it as an anti-clumping agent and will make a very grainy cheese sauce!. A small amount of cream cheese/neufchatel is a good creamy addition!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I start with a thin white sauce and add 3 or 4 different shredded cheeses!. When I combine all with the macaroni in a casserole, I add additional milk if needed, then bake, topped with buttered crumbs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Add some milk and/or butter when you add the cheese after you drain the macaroni!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Use Velveeta instead of cheddar!. If you are using a box, like Kraft, use real butter and half & half instead of milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

use half milk and a small can of carnation evaporated milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i would use more evaporated milk and regular milkWww@FoodAQ@Com
