If you want to keep things simple your first time out until you get used to the process::
Purchase a Boboli crust, ready to bake
Purchase ready made pizza sauce
Brown 8 ounces of ground beef or Italian sausage and crumble
Grate or purchase grated--one cup of mozzarella cheese
Slice one cup of mushrooms and 1/2 cup of onions
(Saute' until limp in olive oil)
Preheat your oven to it's highest temp (between 450-500)
Put your pizza stone in the center of the oven and heat for at least 15 minutes!.
Smooth 1/2 cup of sauce on the boboli pizza crust
Layer with the meat
Add pepperoni if desired
Sprinkle on the onions and mushrooms
Cover to within 1/4 inch of the edge with the cheese
Do not overload your pizza as it won't cook properly and could collapse on you!.
Since conventional ovens do not bake at the high heat that commercial ovens do, it's best to precook the veggies to remove some of the moisture before adding to the pizza!.
If you want peppers on the pizza, saute' those slightly as well!.
After you have layered the ingredients, use a cookie sheet (the kind without a rim) to slide under the edge of the pizza!.
Gently slide the pizza on to the pizza stone!. Turn the oven to 350 degree and don't bake for more than 8 minutes!. Turn oven off and crack the door slightly for about 5 minutes!. It takes approx 30-45 minutes if you buy a ready made frozen pizza base from the supermarket and then just top the base with tomato paste and then all your desired topping eg onion bacon pineapple and lastly tope tih a considerable amount of cheese over entire pizza and put in the oven until it is golden brown then enjoy and have a piece for me!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
