I am home for the weekend and want to cook for my family!. She has a TON of shrimp, so I want a good shrimp recipe!. Maybe a unique spin on shrimp scampi!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Greek Style Shrimp Scampi and Linguini

1 pound linguini
Salt
1 pound medium to large shrimp deveined and peeled, tails removed
Pepper
1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
Couple pinches red pepper flakes
1/2 lemon, zested and juiced
2 sprigs oregano, finely chopped
Handful pitted kalamata olives, chopped
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
1 cup feta cheese crumbles

Place a large pot of water on the stove to boil!. Salt water and cook pasta to al dente!. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper!.

While the pasta water comes to a boil, heat extra-virgin olive oil in a deep skillet with garlic!. When garlic is brown, remove and reserve!. Add shrimp and cook 3 to 4 minutes!. Add red pepper flakes, lemon zest, oregano, olives, and wine and cook together a couple of minutes more!. Remove from heat!. Add a ladle of starchy pasta cooking water to sauce and some lemon juice!. Remove the sauce from the heat!.

Drain pasta and add to the skillet!. Let pasta soak in juices for a minute then toss with parsley and feta!. Use tongs to pull pasta from skillet, giving it a turn to twist in as many ingredients as possible!. Then, use the tongs to remove and arrange the shrimp and ingredients that may remain in the pan, distributing them evenly among the portions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cajun Shrimp Recipe for Pasta
INGREDIENTS:

* 2 tablespoons butter
* 1/4 cup chopped onion
* 1 large clove garlic, minced
* 1 red or green bell pepper, diced
* 1 rib celery, thinly sliced
* 1 can stewed tomatoes, (14!.5 oz)
* 1/4 cup dry white wine
* 2 drops Tabasco sauce, or to taste
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
* 1 teaspoon dried leaf thyme
* 1 1/2 tablespoons parsley
* 1 pound shrimp, shelled & deveined

PREPARATION:
Melt butter in a large skillet and sauté onion, garlic, bell pepper, and celery until tender!. Add tomatoes, wine, Tabasco, and seasonings!. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes!. Add shrimp and cook until shrimp are pink, about 8 to 10 minutes!.

Sunday Shrimp Bake

* 12 ounces uncooked vermicelli
* 1 medium green pepper, chopped
* 5 green onions, chopped
* 6 garlic cloves, minced
* 6 tablespoons butter, cubed
* 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
* 2 pounds cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
* 1 teaspoon celery salt
* 1/8 teaspoon pepper
* 1 pound process cheese (eg!. Velveeta), cubed
* 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
* 1 (4 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
* 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

1!. Cook vermicelli according to package directions!. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute the green pepper, onions and garlic in butter until tender!. Gradually stir in flour until blended!. Stir in the shrimp, celery salt and pepper; cook, uncovered, over medium heat for 5-6 minutes or until heated through!.
2!. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the process cheese, tomatoes and mushrooms!. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 3-4 minutes or until cheese is melted, stirring occasionally!. Add to shrimp mixture!. Drain vermicelli; stir into skillet!.
3!. Pour into a greased 13-in!. x 9-in!. x 2-in!. baking dish!. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese!. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until heated through!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

12 jumbo Shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
2 Tbsp White Wine
1 tsp Salt
2 Tbsp minced Garlic
3 Tbsp unsalted Butter
1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes, more to taste
2 Tbsp chopped Parsley

Heat oil in a medium-sized skillet!. Over medium heat, add the shrimp!. Cook about 3 to 4 minutes!. Add the garlic, pepper flakes, lemon juice, wine and salt!. Cover and cook 3 minutes!. SHRIMP TACOS!!!! they are great, the first time i heard of them i thought gross but i love them more than regular tacos!

you need:
yellow or white corn tortillas
shrimp
butter
garlic
shredded cheese
diced tomato
diced onion
whatever else you like on tacos

in a large cake pan put the shrimp in it and add about 1tbs of butter for about every 2 pounds of sprimp then put some garlic powder on it and bake it at 400' untill the shrimp is hot!.
in a skillet add a little grease and fry the tortilla till it is soft then just make it like a regular taco and enjoyWww@FoodAQ@Com

saute a stick of butter and chop few cloves of garlic in a frying pan and put shrimp in the pan with garlic and butter for about 15 minutes!.!. put a table spoon of bread crumbs in with the shrimps to thicken it up a little!.!.!.boil some pasta and drain and pour the shrimp and butter over the pasta!. Shrimp-Avacado Salad
