Sure, vanilla extract in a flavor, so if you have some other flavor to use that's fine, if not, I'm sure if you have a good recipe the lack of vanilla extract won't break it, it should come together as friends do, even if vanilla's missing!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Leaving it out is like leaving out the flavor!. You could flavor it with another kind of extract but if you're going to take the time to make the bread you should probably just make a quick stop to the supermarket!. You can make it without the extract, it will not change the consistancy or the way it bakes, it will however make it blander and less flavored and less sweet tasting!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can't leave it out completely!.!.!.!.you can use almond extract, but you may want to decrease it a bit!.!.!.its stronger than vanilla and will change the flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes you can sub it for some almond extract, that would be very yummy!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vanilla is a flavoring, just leave it out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
