Anybody have a good recipe for macaroni salad??!
I'm having a get together tonight and all I have is the Pernil (pot roast)! I've made potato salad a few times and people really liked it!.!.!.I want to bring some new flavors to the menu!.!.!.!.any suggestions!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

* 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
* 3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
* 1 small onion, chopped
* 3 stalks celery, chopped
* 1 small red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
* 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
* 2 cups creamy salad dressing (e!.g!. Miracle Whip)
* 3 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
* 3/4 cup white sugar
* 2 1/4 teaspoons white vinegar
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 3/4 teaspoon celery seed
1!. Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil!. Add macaroni, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until tender!. Drain, and set aside to cool!.
2!. In a large bowl, stir together the eggs, onion, celery, red pepper, and relish!. In a small bowl, stir together the salad dressing, mustard, white sugar, vinegar, salt and celery seed!. cook as directed!. Drain and place in large mixing bowl!.
1 cup miracle whip
Add 3-4 hard boiled eggs rough chop
Add 10 sweet gherkins rough chopped and about 3 tbsp!. of the sweet gherkins juice
add 1/4 tsp salt
add 1/4 tsp pepper
One package of imitation crab rough chopped
1/2 cup frozen peas , thawed
black olives, drained (optional)
Mix together and chill!.
You can add more or less of any of the ingredients!. If you like your salad moister then add more miracle whip!. Work with a little at a time!. You can add a bit of mayo if you like!. The more miracle whip or gherkins you add the sweeter and tangy it will be!. Do not chop anything fine!. You can also start with just a 1/2 package of the imitation crab meat then decide if you want to use the entire thing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

2 Tablespoons cider vinegar
? teaspoon seasoned salt
? teaspoon pepper
? teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon grated white onion
2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
? cup grated carrot
1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 cup celery, chopped or sliced thin
1 pimento, chopped (optional)
Cook macaroni in boiling salted water according to package directions until tender Drain and put into a large bowl!. Mix salad oil, vinegar, seasoned salt and macaroni!. Toss to coat well, then add remaining ingredients and mix well!. Spoon into a 5 cup ring mold, pack down well with back of spoon!.
Cover and chill at least 2 hours!. Unmold onto platter and fill center with fresh vegetable relish or salad greens if desired!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 pkg!. Broccoli slaw (not normal slaw!.!.!. better taste!)
2 pkg!. oriental Ramen noodles (they taste better than other flavors in this)
1 cup toasted almond slices (baked in a single layer on cookie sheet at 350 for 5 min!.)
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 bunch scallions (diced)
(i add broken up small bites from the crown of broccoli too)
DRESSING: Mix together- and then set aside in fridge!.
1 cup oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup white vinegar
2 flavor packets from Ramen noodles
Mix and chill slaw and scallions!.
Crush noodles and mix with seeds and almonds!.
Mix everything together!.
Put dressing on and stir when ready to serve!. (otherwise, it gets soggy!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Any kind of pasta you like (bowtie, ziti, elbow, rotelle, etc!.), cook until el dente, drain and set aside!. Yellow and red bell peppers--put them under the broiler until the skins turn black all around, then peel the skins off (dump the skins)!. Cut the not-cooked peppers into small chunks or slivers!. Quick cook asparagus and cut them into 1" segments!. Mix all of that together!. You can add chopped onions if you want!. And you can add chopped Italian dry salami if you want!. 3 roma tomatoes
1 small purple onion
1/4 cup sweet relish
1 small can chopped/sliced olives
6 hard boiled eggs
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup mustard
salt and pepper
Boil noodles until soft, drain, rinse let cool in refrigerator, while cutting everything else!. Dice tomatoes cut onions finely cut eggs (like making deviled egg sandwich) then mix together all ingredients at or leave out whatever you want to liking!Www@FoodAQ@Com
