I have tried it and it adds some wonderful flavor to it!.!.!.I am not a chef im a mom who watches food network non stop and cooks for four kids!.I used regular bacon and then bacon w maple flavoring to it family prefers to have maple flavor it makes it a bit sweet!.Excellent in potato soup!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I haven't tried this exact thing!. It sounds like unless the bacon is very lean, it could make the soup quite fatty!. And after you add that much bacon to chicken soup, it's not really chicken soup anymore!.

The flavor of the bacon could overwhelm the flavor of the chicken!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It definitely works but you have to make sure that the bacon you use is 'thicker' bacon and obviously using smoked bacon will help blend the flavours together!. Have fun :D Yes I would recommend it - what sources are you using!. Sorry ; Im source mad, I'll tell you the best herbs and source to go with it if you wish!.!.!.

I think ill make it !.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd be concerned that the bacon wouldn't cook well & crisp up, when it's cooked in a liquidy recipe!.!.!. Maybe if you cooked it first, and crumbled it into the recipeWww@FoodAQ@Com

i have tried diced bacon in chicken soup, the flavours work well together , only use the lean meatWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes delishes you will love it!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
