Answers:
True fondant is actually a bit of a process made out of cooked sugar syrup!. You can make it as tasty or untasty as you want!.
Marshmallow fondant is essentially melted marshmallows with a couple of other ingredients and likewise could be as plain or exciting as you want it!.
For my own decorating, I prefer using actual homemade fondant!. I find it easier to work with than MMF (marshmallow fondant)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Like the person above me said, its all about the ingredients!. I prefer to use marshmallow fondant though!. I think it tastes good and traditional fondant does not!. Its easier to make because there are only three ingredients: marshmallows, sugar, and a bit of water!. People will actually eat marshmallow fondant, most people just pick off traditional fondant and only eat the cake!. Its just as stable too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
