Lemon Chocolate Pie
Crust
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup of almonds, grind in food processor until powdered
3 Tablespoons cocoa powder
5 Tablespoons sugar
1 egg
6 Tablespoons cold butter, cut into small pieces
1)Combine everything in a heavy duty mixer or food processor until well mixed!.
2)Press into well oiled pie plate until bottom and sides are evenly covered
3)Bake at 350′ until firm ~ 30 mins!.
Filling
1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons sugar
Squeeze the juice from 3 lemons ( ~3/4 cup )
8 egg yolks
1 whole egg
3/4 cup butter at room temperature
1)Divide sugar in half, half to mixing bowl, half to sauce pan
2)Add lemon juice to sauce pan, and simmer over medium flame until sugar is melted and remove from heat!.
3)Add egg yolks and egg to mixing bowl and beat on high until tripled in volume
4)Slowly add in lemon juice with sugar from sauce pan, continuing to beat on high
5)Put mixture back into saucepan and heat over medium flame, stirring constantly until boiling, (about 3 or 4 minutes)
6)Remove from heat, mixture should be thickening
7)Slowly add in butter stirring to mix well
8)Add lemon mix to cooked pie shell
9)Bake at 300′ until set in middle (like you would for a cheese cake)

* 1 tsp baking powder
* 1/2 tsp baking soda
* 1 tsp salt
* 4 eggs, large
* 3/4 cup sugar
* 1 tbs lemon zest
* 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
* 1 cup toasted almonds
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 325F!. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper!. Sift flour, baking powder and soda, and salt together in a mixing bowl!. In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar together, then beat in lemon juice and zest!.
Add flour mixture to egg mixture and gradually mix together!. Stir in almonds!. On a floured surface, knead dough for 2 minutes!. Divide dough in half and shape into 2 logs!. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown!. Remove biscotti from oven and cool completely!. Reduce oven temperature to 300F!. Slice log into 1/2 inch slices, and put slices back on baking sheet!. Bake for another 20 minutes!.
Drizzle melted chocolate onto them!.

5 teaspoons packed grated lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Cream topping
Preheat oven to 375?F!. Butter and flour 9-inch-diameter cake pan with 1 1/2-inch-high sides!. Line bottom of pan with waxed paper!.
Finely grind almonds with 2 tablespoons sugar in processor!. Combine yolks, 2 tablespoons sugar, lemon peel, cinnamon and salt in medium bowl!. Using electric mixer, beat until thick and smooth, about 2 minutes!. Stir in almond mixture!. Using clean beaters, beat egg whites in large bowl until soft peaks form!. Gradually add 4 tablespoons sugar, beating until stiff but not dry!. Fold large spoonful of whites into almond mixture!. Gently fold in remaining whites!.

Well!.!.!.i dont know if chocolate and lemon would be good together, but you can make a lemon almond pound cake! Here is a recipe:
ALMOND LEMON POUND CAKE
2 c!. cake flour
1/2 tsp!. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp!. salt
1 c!. butter, softened
1 c!. granulated sugar
4 eggs
5 tbsp!. lemon juice
1 1/4 c!. chopped natural almonds, toasted
1/2 c!. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp!. vanilla
In small bowl, combine flour, cream of tartar and salt!. In large bowl, cream butter and granulated sugar!. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition!. Beat in 2 tablespoons lemon juice!. Gradually add flour mixture and mix thoroughly!. Fold in 1 cup of the almonds!. Pour batter into greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan!. Sprinkle top with remaining 1/4 cup almonds!. Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean!.
Meanwhile, in small saucepan, combine powdered sugar, remaining 3 tablespoons lemon juice and vanilla!. Stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved!. Remove cake from oven!. Drizzle hot glaze over top!. Let cool in pan on rack for 15 minutes!. Loosen edges; remove from pan!. Cool completely!.
* To pair well to the dish, i would make a whipped cream- add a little almond extract and top on cake! :)
