Serves 6

Ingredients
1 savoy cabbage, cored and shredded
120g/4oz smoked streaky bacon, derinded and chopped
60g/2oz butter
90ml/3fl oz dry white wine
2 tbsp parsley, fresh chopped
2 tsp fennel seeds
2 tbsp crème fraiche
salt and pepper
Method
1!. Melt the butter in a large pan!. Add the bacon and cook for 3-4 minutes!.
2!. Add the cabbage and mix all together!. Add the wine and season well!. Cover and cook gently for 10 minutes until the cabbages is tender!.

1 head green napa cabbage
1 head purple cabbage
1 pound bay shrimp
2 bunches minced green onions
2/3 cup butter
2 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles, broken
4 tablespoons sesame seeds
2 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup white sugar
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1)Finely shred the head of cabbage; do not chop!. Combine the green onions and cabbage in a large bowl, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve!.
2)Preheat oven to 350 degrees F!.
3)Make the crunchies: Melt the butter in a pot!. Mix the ramen noodles, sesame seeds and almonds into the pot with the melted butter!. Spoon the mixture onto a baking sheet and bake the crunchies in the preheated 350 degrees F oven, turning often to make sure they do not burn!. When they are browned remove them from the oven!.
4)Make the dressing: In a small saucepan, heat vinegar, oil, sugar, and soy sauce!. Bring the mixture to a boil, let boil for 1 minute!. Remove the pan from heat and let cool!.

16 large cabbage leaves
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound ground turkey
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 egg, beaten
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
2/3 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 cup water
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups baby carrots, sliced lengthwise (optional)
Preparation-
In a pot, bring 1 cup water and rice to a boil!. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes!.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!. Butter a 9x13 inch casserole dish!.
Bring a large pot of water to boil!. Reduce heat to low and place cabbage leaves in pot!. Simmer 4 to 5 minutes, until tender!. Drain leaves and set aside!.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook turkey and onion until turkey is brown and onion is tender!. Transfer turkey and onion to a bowl, cool slightly, and mix in cooked rice, egg and 1 can tomato sauce!. Season with salt and pepper!.
In a separate bowl, mix 1 can tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, brown sugar, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce!.
Scatter carrot slices evenly over bottom of casserole dish!. Spread cabbage leaves on a flat surface and place about 2 tablespoons turkey mixture in the center of each leaf!. Fold edges of leaves over filling, then roll into logs!. Place cabbage rolls seam side down in dish over carrots!. Pour sauce evenly over rolls!.

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
4 cups coarsely shredded cabbage
1/2 cup chopped carrot
3 cups vegetable broth
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 cups diced potato
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) evaporated milk
minced parsley
dash paprika
PREPARATION:
In a large heavy saucepan or Dutch oven, heat butter over medium-low heat; cook onion until golden in color!. Stir in flour until well blended!. Add cabbage and carrots along with the broth, salt, pepper, and potatoes!.
Bring to a boil, stirring frequently; reduce heat to low!. Cover and cook until tender, stirring frequently, about 20 minutes!. Add milk!. Heat through, but do not boil!. Taste and adjust seasonings, added more salt and pepper, as needed!. Sprinkle each serving with a little parsley and a dash of paprika, if desired!.
