Making chocolate covered Pretzels?!

Question: Making chocolate covered Pretzels!?
I was just wondering if I could use any chocolate lets say a Hershey's Milk chocolate candy bar, or do i need a special kind of chocolate!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It might not harden up well if you just use melted chocolate!. At the grocery store (baking aisle) or craft stores (cake decorating aisle), there's special "melting" chocolate!. You can just microwave the chocolate in the tray that comes with it, dip and let the pretzels dry on a rack or wax paper!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can use just standard chocolate chips if you want!. Just melt 1 cup of Chocolate chips with 1!.5 teaspoons of vegetable shortening until smooth and dip!. Adding the vegetable shortening helps the chocolate "harden up"!.

You can also buy candy coating at a crafts store!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can try just candy bar, but you won't be able to cover much or will have to buy a lot of them!. Look in the baking aisle at grocery, you will see blocks of chocolate bars!. Thats what I use, gives you a lot to use! Enjoy!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would suggest going to get bakers chocolate at the grocery store, Regular chocolate does not dip as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can use any chocolate you want!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
