Healthy smoothie or juice I can make in the blender?!

Question: Healthy smoothie or juice I can make in the blender!?
I don't have a juicer but I have a blender!. I'd like to start making healthy drinks for the morning!. I saw a girl on that show Workout making one that used some leafy vegetables!. It could have been spinach!. That's kind of what I'm looking for!. Something with fresh vegetables like maybe tomatoes, cucumbers, etc!. But what fluid should I use to blend it with!? Milk would be nasty!. Could I use a little V8 Juice or something!?

Can you guys & gals help me with some recipes!? Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Spanish Gazpacho! Maybe not for breakfast but:

Core 2 large ripe tomatoes
1/2 peeled onion
3 to 4 peeled garlic cloves
1 peeled cucumber
1 cored green pepper
about 1/4 cup olive oil
about 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 can vegetable or chicken broth
Sea salt & pepper to taste
(add water if it looks too thick)

Blend till smooth and chill!. (blend again after chilling and just before serving to get everything back together)

Garnish with some finely chopped vegies listed above and croutons!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's not real easy to create something in a blender with vegetables, that tastes decent!. You can use V8, carrot juice from the store or water!. If you use some high water content vegetables like tomatoes or cucumbers, you might not need to add any other liquid!. Google gazpacho (cold soup)!.

Here is one favorite recipe that I invented: 1 or 2 apples (preferably organic), cored and quartered, one-half cup froz!. blueberries, 4-6 oz!. soy or rice milk (enough to make it frozen-slushy, not too thin, not too thick and burn out your blender motor), 1 scoop vanilla flavored whey protein, and 1 tablespoon granular lecithin (health food store) - blended in a blender!. The lecithin is not essential but it's good for you and adds a creamy flavor!.

You can make a lot of good stuff with fruit, experiment!.
Peel and freeze bananas and use them in fruit smoothies!.

Hi - smoothies and milkshakes can be made in blenders!.
Anything goes, as long as it's peeled and ripe!.
Blend nice fruit mixes like
Bananas and strawberrys or
kiwi, apple and grape or
blueberrys, mango and orange or
paw paw, pinapple and mango
- if they come out to thick thin with water or fresh orange / apple juice!.
Milkshakes can be made by wizzing milk with fruits like
1 pint milk & 2 bananas - sweeten with honey if you like or
1 pint milk with a punnet of strawberrys - sweeten with maple syrup (optional)
Smoothies can also be blended with milk and yogurt and fruit like
1 banana, 1/2 pot yogurt, 1/2 pint milk and 1 mango
Experimenting is a great way of finding out what you like best!.
Happy wizzing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you want an avocado milkshake you can make this Avocado juice along with some milk!.!.and put some vanila ice cream onto a glass and pour the juice on top of it and add 1 or 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream on top of it!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't have one for veggies but I make an awesome strawberry smoothie!.

1 16 oz frozen strawberries with or without sugar depending on sweetness (fresh can be used)
1 small container of yogurt 6 or 8 oz plain will work or any other flavor you would like to add (I normally use vanilla or plain)
1!.5 cups ice
Blend it all together until smooth and creamy Yummm think I will have to make one tonight now!
You can also add other fruits that you like!. Sometimes I add bananas or pineapple!.
I like mine better than the ones you can buy at the mall!. I never measure anything either so you may have to work with this a little to get it to your liking!. Oh except the strawberries that is the correct amount I use!. This makes a whole pitcher and can be frozen and thawed out when you are ready to have some more!Www@FoodAQ@Com
